The Behavioral Health Program is a fully integrated outpatient mental health and alcohol & drug assessment and treatment program licensed by the State of Oregon. Services include mental health and alcohol and drug assessments, counseling, consultation, and training services. We emphasize a culturally sensitive method that respectfully integrates tribal spirituality and cultural awareness into the full range of behavioral health assessment and treatment.

The Behavioral Health Department provides quality programs and services for the Grand Ronde Tribal Member, their families, as well as other Native Americans. Contact the Behavioral Health secretary to start the process. All clients will need to fill out a Patient Registration Form.

The Mental Health program is focused on improving the mental and emotional health of individuals and the family functioning of our patient. Private and confidential counseling is available at the Health & Wellness Center. Services include: individual, couple and family, therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. By request, Mental Health staff can provide classes and in-services on such topics as depression, anxiety disorders, parenting skills, suicide prevention, and other mental health issues.

Our Drug / Alcohol Counseling program recognizes that the use of alcohol and other drugs can disrupt a person’s life in many ways. Breakup of marriages and families, loss of self-esteem, loss of job, and even loss of life can result from the continued abuse of substances without proper treatment. With treatment, and an ongoing desire to remain free of the burden of substance abuse, many people maintain healthy and recovering lifestyles.

The Grand Ronde Health & Wellness Center Drug and Alcohol program is here to help individuals and family members who are experiencing problems related to use of alcohol and drugs. We offer group and individual outpatient treatment for adults and adolescents as well as residential referrals when appropriate.
